Natural Highs and Lows has never really considered a whole month of daily blogging, and as recently as yesterday, October 1st, that was still the case. Then, this morning, I began reading the latest blog series from B at Coastal Ripples, who has to be said is an absolute star of the genre, regularly delivering a month's worth of relatable content from her corner of the Blogosphere.
So when she ended her post with "a quick peruse of blogs to see if anyone else is keeping me company this October", I initially thought, "Ah, but it's the 2nd now, so not much point."
Then it occurred to me that I did take a scenic photograph yesterday, so perhaps I could sneak in a short 'first of the month' post, followed by a more leisurely one for today. So here we are, showing a bit of Blogger solidarity, and dipping my toe in the tidal waters of daily blogging.
My third thought centred on the fact that there's a short holiday in the offing, and would I be able to post updates on an aged iPhone? We will jolly well find out in due course!

So glad to have company. We bloggers are a rarified breed these days 😹
ReplyDelete🙌🏻 (I hope that's a High Five!)
ReplyDeleteHow nice of you to be so gentlemanly as to keep another islander company throughout October. And two of my favourite islands too. Suddenly October is a whole lot brighter. But more to the challenge, can you keep up the punning for a whole month? I bet you can!
ReplyDeleteIn my haste, starting a day late, I have inadvertently defaulted to simple titles. I hope that you can forgive this glaring omission.
DeleteI think he will😂

DeleteGood luck with the challenge. I came out in sympathy with my Creative Writing course-mates back in 2020 for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and tried to publish something every day for a month. The idea was to throw down 1650 words per day for the whole of November, and by the end of it all you’ll have a novel. I used my blog instead and although I only got to day 18, and would never have got a novel out of it, I was still chuffed with myself.
ReplyDeleteJust keep going and it will become part of your daily routine. Look forward to dropping by.
I remember you doing that and how impressed I was!
